Best vegan pizza (in town) 🧡 - Edit
Plant a pizza is one of my favourite restaurants in Ghent. The pizza's are really delicious and they have many options to choose from - also a lot of 'pizza bianca's', which I love. They use really high quality ingredients, the vegan cheeses are so good! The appetizers are great as well, and they change from time to time, which I like. The service is always very welcoming and friendly!

Perfect garlic bread, homemade lemonade and the Pizza Margherita with pine seeds was divine! The best food all holiday, and we’ve had many good options. If I could have managed another bite I would have loved to try the desserts as well. Rolling home happy and full to the brim.

BEST PIZZA EVER - Edit
We endulged in the Pimped Queen Margherita and the Foresta. The foresta was the best pizza (including all the pizza's I ate before being vegan) I ever had. The dough was extremely light and had a nice thicc fluffy crust. The cashew creamy cheese was amazing, the staff was nice, Belgian beers were ofcourse great and their own beer was a great surprise! 🫢

Found this place because of HappyCow and was blown away. For appetizers we tried the fried mushrooms and arrancini. We also got the raspberry lemonade to complement our eggplant parm, pimped margherita, and fungi pizzas. Ingredients were great quality and you couldn’t even tell it was vegan. Everything was outstanding.

Ook heerlijke voorafjes, check het 'Hot Cheesy Garlic Bread' en de 'Magic Fried Mushwings'.
Een mooie wijnkaart en de bediening is steeds top!
Plant a Pizza begon als foodtruck en ook die is nog regelmatig aanwezig op evenementen.

Heerlijke pizza’s, volledig vegan en veel variatie in soorten. Kazen zijn gemaakt van amandel en zijn super lekker! Ook de desserts zijn aan te raden, zelf had ik de tiramisu en de Margarita special, heel lekker, goed van smaak en hoogwaardige ingrediënten.

Best gluten free vegan pizza - Edit
This is the only place I know of that serves gluten free pizzas that are vegan and of which the dough is similar to a normal pizza. If you eat GF you know that GF doughs are typically thin and just not as elastic and savoury as normal wheat dough. The plant a pizza dough is magically “normal” and delicious! To top it off (pun intended), there is a lot of choice and the sauce is made without onion.

Menu is very creative, and the dough might well be the best one I've EVER tried (and I eat pizza a lot) - I could eat it by itself and be happy.

I discovered them during the Vegan Street Festival in Brussels and went to the restaurant twice since then. Definitely the best vegan pizzas of my life! 😋🍕 Everything is very tasty, the staff is very friendly and the restaurant is really cozy. Special mention for the four cheese pizza, which is amazing!! I could not recommend this place enough, especially if you're a pizza lover

this pizza slaps, a fantastic menu with lots of interesting choices which are all 100% plant based. Me and my partner chose to share the la momma Rosa and special La foresta. Both full of flavour and loaded with toppings, the dough is a super light and soft true Neapolitan style all made in house in their pizza oven, top service and family friendly - definitely worth a visit.

Wow, such delicious vegan pizzas (absolutely loved the fluffy dough), we had quite a feast as portions were more than enough. The staff was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Fully vegan restaurant which is truly great, never had so many vegan pizzas options in a single place, absolutely a treat. Also, we enjoyed so much the tiramisu and the cheesecake, quite a mouth watering experience with those as well.

Read moreIt's rare to come across a pizza restaurant in the Italian tradition that is 100% vegan... We had to try it.
Here everything is mastered, from the pizza to the desserts. I was able to accompany my pizza with a triple blond beer that was very good.
For pizza, we tasted the Pimped Queen Margherita as well as the Mamma Rossa (spicy). The pizzas were very good, the dough was very soft with a good taste.
As for dessert, it was incredible to be able to eat a vegan dame blanche as it is so rare. It was a good size dessert, composed of three scoops of ice cream with a delicious vanilla flavor, excellent melted chocolate and light whipped cream. What was nice is that we poured the chocolate and cream on the ice cream ourselves. I highly recommend this dessert!

I'm sorry to read a con is tapwater being 1 euro.
In Belgium it's not even mandatory to give any tapwater, so restaurants that do so, are in that regard, already doing something 'extra'. We ask for a 1 euro service cost for tapwater (not only does this include the water but also: 2 glasses, a can for the water, the dishes afterwards and a server bringing them to the table and cleaning it). I hope there is a way to understand this from our point of view too. Because every item, every dish, has in it, a service cost too.
That being said, hope to see you soon, the dame blanche improved a bit!

The napolitan pizza dough is light and easily digerible (I say so as an Italian).

We tried 3 different flavors: pimped margherita, 4 formaggi and cacio e pepe.
The only note I would make is that the cacio e pepe has room for improvement (we didn't love the pink pepper grains on top of it and expected a stronger flavor).
Overall it was a wonderful experience, I hope you open a place in Brussels soon as well!!
