Amazing banquet option - Edit
Had the $99 banquet for two - amazing amount of food and a big jug of sangria. Staff are super friendly and helpful and the food is amazing. The battered oyster mushrooms were a particular highlight.

Now they just need to leave the Bimbo Deluxe Alum so they can have clean hands and be truly vegan.

Wanted to love it - Edit
Only tried one thing from here and that was the KFC bowl. The jackfruit nuggets were amazing and crisp. The rest of the salad was underwhelming. A little under seasoned and the quinoa was "wet". No enough sauce. Overall not cohesive as a dish and very expensive at $29. Was not the comfort food I was hoping for. Don't think I would go back.

Cons: price, underwhelming, smallish menu

It's a cute spot. The food is ok for deep fried bar food.

Yes it can be hit and miss but the Korean fried mushrooms are great, and the nachos and patatas bravas are pretty good. Avoid the fried rice and KFC bowl.

We had the Caesar salad, Korean chicken, fried rice with duck and kfc bowl. Everything was really good, Caesar salad was my favorite! Also nice outdoor seating area and friendly staff😄

Nice place - Edit
This place was near to my accommodation so I decided to stroll on over in the rain. I came here wanting to order the loaded patatas bravas but had to get the KFC burger instead due to them downsizing the menu with it being Christmas Day. I enjoyed it but wished there was more KFC nuggets on top of it. I didn’t find it really filling. Chips were good.

Great place to spend a lazy sunny day - Edit
Came here at 2pm, and they were still serving the brunch menu (until 3). The person there was very lovely, saying if we had any allergies they can still make something from the dinner menu but it would take a bit longer.
Read moreWe ordered the egg, bacon + bravas flatbread, and the Caeser salad. The flatbread was very tasty and not too spicy (although I didn't get any egg taste), and the bread wasn't warm/crispy (I thought it would be because it came wrapped in foil).
The Caeser salad was very fresh and tasty, the toasted chickpeas gave a great crunch, the jackfruit nuggets were in a coating very reminiscent of kfc seasoning (from what I remember), and the sauce was very nice and creamy, and just the right amount of it.
It was so relaxing sitting outside in the sun, on their super comfy chairs.
I would love to come back for dinner, as the menu changes quite regularly. I'm glad to see the fried chocolate bar back on the menu, it's delicious! Bummed it wasn't on the brunch menu.
Pros: Delicious food, esp the fried chocolate bar, Lovely staff, Great outdoor dining

Disappointing reduced brunch menu - Edit
I’ve always enjoyed Good Love, so I made a booking there for lunch on the day of the Midsumma parade. I was a bit surprised they weren’t running a promotion tbh. I selected the online option for a set meal with cheap cocktail jugs. When we arrived not only was this deal not available for lunch, but the menu was significantly reduced to mostly bagels and wraps. Additionally, rather than the anticipated $40, cocktail jugs cost $60. I accept that comfort food is GL’s thing, but the options were so limited and samey that this became a liability, and the menu just seemed a bit crappy. The food was fine for what is was: bagels were decent, and the Caesar salad was OK but I’m not sure the KFC nuggets complemented it. Speaking of which, the nuggets were a bit crumbly, a bit different from what I’m used to in attempts at chicken simulacra. Determined to enjoy ourselves we washed our disappointment down with a $60 jug of cucumber & ginger Collins. I hope my future experiences are more like the ones I’ve had in the past.

Excellent in all respects - Edit
What a pleasant culinary surprise. We had the nachos for starters, and both the Mongolian Sizzling BBQ with rice, and the Jerk KFC for mains. We added a Peachy Heaven Whiskey Iced Tea Cocktail jug too. The food was delicious, and uniquely tasty. The cocktail too was great. The service was excellent and ambiance was nicely, very different.

okay - Edit
had a birthday dinner here and service was lovely and they were very accommodating! however food was not all that.:( everyone agreed that it felt like all the dishes were trying to hard to get at different flavours. the nachos, banana blossom fish, and mushroom hot pot were okay but nothing out of the ordinary. kind of sad bc i usually hear really good things about good love but wouldn’t rate them as anything above average

Yuck - Edit
I have never been to a vegan restaurant with such disgusting food. I'm not sure where all the good reviews are coming from, maybe they changed chefs recently. Stale bread, wet soggy roti sitting in a puddle of water, canned mushrooms, and just terrible flavour. Everything was basicly not edible. I walked past the kitchen on the way to the bathroom and I've never seen such a mess, dirty pans, bowls, cutley, bits of different food just slopped all over the place. I hope with the small amount of food I managed to force down doesn't give me food poisoning.

Loved it! - Edit
Believe the hype, this place is great! Came one afternoon with my partner and a friend and the three of us shared several tapas/small dishes. We enjoyed all of the food, especially the miso fries which were phenomenally moreish. I also appreciated the wait staff who was laid back and friendly and took the time to explain some of the menu to us and offered some great recommendations. Will definitely come again whenever I'm back in Melbourne!

5 star love this place! - Edit
We went for a quick bite to eat and ended up staying all afternoon drinking cocktails eating half the menu sitting on the comfy chairs in the sunshine under umbrellas chatting and enjoying good love's happy vegan vibes! Staff really friendly and welcoming, love that it is so inclusive to all and how innovative menu is! My husband liked the vegan fish the best made from banana blossum battered fried and served with yummy tartar sauce. My favourite was the mongolian bbq hot plate stirfry with strips mock meat made of seitan. We also had the mock duck wrap, the jackfruit in both the main dish marinated and fried in bao buns. We also had a passionfruit tart dessert served with berry sauce and icecream, the pastry on tart was so tasty and the frozen passionfruit mixture in tart was perfect. The cocktails were all delicious especially the spiced rum. The outdoor seating under umbrellas was perfect on sunny sunday afternoon and well worth the tram visit from the cbd so glad we went there. Looking forward to trying rest of menu next time especially the breakfast bun.

Unfortunately I didn’t really love most of the food I tried but I think it was good food, just not really to my taste! The staff were all absolutely beautiful people, they were very accommodating and I love the vibe of the place.
